Mexico: Does This Sound Like A Good Deal To You?
I am getting estimates for Secrets Capri Riviera Maya. For the regular deluxe tropical view room, I was quoted $2399. This includes:
- 5 nights accomodations
- non-stop roundtrip air
- transfers
- tax
- food, drinks, activities, etc.
ETA: This is for early October

I dont think it looks like a good idea AT ALL.
Early October should be low season, right? We paid less than that for high season (March) per night for our honeymoon for Excellence Riviera Maya which I believe is the more expensive resort.
Id keep shopping around on different websites to see if you could beat that.

i have been shopping this around and this was the best i could get so far but i know what you mean. I was shocked by the rates! I figured it was a standard, albeit huge, increase since I last checked.
In '06 when I priced the resort out for my HM, I had 10 nights in a top of the line room for $5K including air and tax, etc. I was shocked that everyone is quoting me more than half of that for half the nights and the least expensive room. this is so depressing....
