Miami / South Florida Trip w/Kids - Hotel

Looking for a kid-friendly hotel in S.Florida near Miami or Ft.Lauderdale.

I love the luxe feel, and it would be great if it were kid-friendly too. Space counts, so if you know of a nice suggestion that's big, let me know :)

Just got back from here and I can't rave enough about it!

Totally kid friendly- there is a water slide for kids in one pool.
They have a kids club and also daily free activies for kids like magic shows, limbo contests, water balloon tosses.

The room was huge and we didn't have a suite.

10 min from Fort Lauderdale airport.
Brand new and very luxurious, upscale feel

Are you looking to stay for a few days or a precruise night with kids?

We stayed at the Intercontinential in Miami pre cruise last year. Kids liked the pool. There were many families there. It was walking distance to a mall on the pier with lots to of family friendly restaurants. Was great for a night or two. You can see the cruise ships in port from the pool deck.

yes, 2 nights. it'll be at the tail end of a disney/miami trip. just 2 nights to relax after running around for a week.

Margaritaville looks amaazing.
As for Intercontinental...is it walkable at night over there? Looks pretty fab.
