Miami?
We are trying to think of a place to go for our 1 year anniversary. I searched Miami and the prices are about right but I wanted to see if anyone had any advice about where to stay. I definitely want a nice pool and spa services. It would also if we were close to the city of Miami so we can go out for dinner at night.
TIA!

Re: Miami?
For our 1-year we went to Key Biscayne (it's just south of miami beach near coconut grove, but on it's own key) and stayed at the Ritz Carlton. I posted my review on this board w/ pics. We loved it!!! It felt like we were away on vacation in the caribbean.
Are you going to rent a car while you're there? If so then this would be perfect b/c then you could go out to miami at night, it's only a couple miles away.
Here's a map to give you an idea of where key biscayne is:
If you want to stay in Miami i've heard that the Delano and Loews are really nice.

Re: Miami?
The Delano is beautiful - but $$$
Last month I went and stayed at the South Seas which is two hotels away from the Delano. Now, the rooms and hotel itself was a little subpar - not terrible, but not great (many of the hotels have the old art deco bathrooms still). The pool area was really nice and the bar and cafe were great too. They were actually doing a photo shoot at the poolside when we were there. It is right in the middle of the city though which is nice - everything is walking distance. I would probably give it a B overall. That is all I know about Miami hotels!
There were a million other hotels right on the same block that looked really nice though (Collins Ave.).
