Michael Jackson's Body Will Be at Memorial Service
Michael Jackson's body will be at the public memorial service at the Staples Center today, the Los Angeles Police Chief William Bratton has confirmed.
An official with AEG Life, the concert promoter handling the memorial (and previously Jackson's London comeback tour), told CNN there would be no funeral processional.

Teddy Riley, who produced Jackson's Dangerous album, also revealed details of what will happen today at 10 a.m. PST inside the Staples Center, where Mariah Carey, Jennifer Hudson and Usher are expected to perform.

"The superstars are going to come out and sing some songs," Riley explained to CNN. "There will be a band, conducting. We're just going to jam."

More than 1.6 million fans applied for the approximately 17,000 available seats inside the Staples Center and Nokia Theater, which will simulcast the event. Several tickets were sold for upwards of $20,000 online.
