did you go on your road trip yet? How did the boys do? We leave next week and our stop overs got all messed up! How often did you stop and what did you do to entertain them?

I am now considering buying her a convertible carseat since she's almost out of her Snugride.

I'd recommend getting the convertible carseat. Sydney was still fitting in the infant carrier but she started to fuss more in it, probably because she wasnt comfortable. We swtiched it out with the britax marathon and she seems so much happier.

keep in mind when she falls asleep in the bigger car seat her head droops forward. At least in the snugride she will sleep in a more comfortable position. I see Hayley in the mirror all slumped over, she looks so uncomfortable.

We took a road trip to NC two months ago but we stopped overnight in Va each way, so they were not in car for that that long. We also left LI and NC around 6 ish so we only had to stop once to feed them and then they were asleep for the night. They were both in their snugride fro this trip and I believe Mattingly was 19 lbs and he was fine. We just got them new car seats this weekend. At times they would eb crying, so I would try to reach behind me and play with them, and at one point I fed them in the car so we didn't have to stop on the second leg. All in all it was not bad at all. Good Luck!
