microblading

this topic hasn't been discussed for a bit.

are there any updates?
recommendations?
regrets?

i have decent brows, but i do have a bald spot on one of my brows. because of that, i color them it enough to even them out.

i would like to not do that any more.

is this something that you would recommend for my situation?

ps. since it's starting to look like i might have surgery on my shoulder... i was toying with the idea of getting this done while i'm out from work... to ensure i'm home for the "ugly" stage lol

words of wisdom, please.
thanks.

It’s one of the best things I’ve ever done for myself. I LOVE my microbladed brows. Got them done last March (followed by required initial touch-up a few weeks later) and they still look brand new. It’s amazing how your brows really affect how your whole face looks. My only regret is not doing it sooner when I first started thinking about it. Seriously, go for it! And good luck with your shoulder!

I saw your replies on the older thread that you were thinking of doing it.

Do you have any before & after pics?

Would love to see how they came out. And where you got it done.

Can you share where you got it done and how much it cost?

I also got them done due to my overplucking in the 90s. Best investment ever. Yes the first 2 weeks were rough, but not like I couldn't go out in public. They were just very dark, darker then they should be for my skin tone. I don't even need an eyebrow pencil which is great b/c in the past by lunchtime, my brows were missing again b/c it wore off in spots.

Unfortunately I didn’t take any before and after pics - I think the girl who did it may have, but I don’t have them. My brows were really bad before - they just don’t grow for some reason.

I live OOS and got them done in Boston. Believe I paid $500 ish and possibly some additional smaller amount for the consultation beforehand. Sorry none of this is too helpful!

Ugh stupid phone typing errors
