Midshore Mothers' Center in Farmingdale
(they used to be in Wantagh). I anyone currently involved in this group?

I joined this last session, the class moved to Farmingale midway through. I was hoping the group of moms and children would be larger, there were only 4 of us. I joined because it was really inexpensive but I haven't gone the last few weeks becuase it lands right in the middle of nap time. The first part of the class their is no teacher, the kids play with the toys, then last 15 minutes a woman comes in and sings and reads a book and blows bubbles. I didn't sign up again for next session since my DS really enjoys music class much better so we are doing that again. I would try a class and see if you like it.

Thanks - which music class did you join?? I just asked if I could take a trial class next week and they said they don't usually do that....??

We are in the class now on Mondays at 9:30 and DD seems to enjoy it. They were in Wantagh and then moved to Farmingdale, so that's a little bit of a hike for us, but the session is almost over.
It's a nice long session and a good price. My MIL takes DD, so I've never actually seen the place, but my MIL seemed happy with it.
DD loved the Music Together class we took in the Fall and we'll do that in the Spring. We took the class in Bellmore on Sunday mornings.
