Migraine Sufferers...I got my first pregnant one...
I knew it was going to happen sooner or later, I was just hoping it wouldn't happen at work. Any advice, since I can't take anything? I get vision loss with mine, thankfully it happened during my lunch break - but now the headache is beginning to make its way through.

I had mine last week - I just tried sleeping it off.

Re: Migraine Sufferers...I got my first pregnant one...
Ugh, I almost want to go home and sleep but I feel bad at work doing that. I can handle the headache so far, no other usual side effects...but I don't want to put extra strain on my body...

My dr suggested I take Tylenol, but you may want to check with your doctor.
Also, coffee, a cold rag on your head, and closing your eyes and laying down all are supposed to help.

Re: Migraine Sufferers...I got my first pregnant one...
Caffeine never helped me personally with my migraines. I would love to lay down, the last one before I was pregnant, I was able to sleep it off at home without taking my prescription medication. Now...I'm at work. I guess I will see how bad I feel. Do you know if it is harmful to the baby to put the stress on your body of not feeling well with the headache, or that is ok as long as I can bear it?

The only thing that would rid me of migraines is lots of water/fluids. The extra fluid "washed" it away without meds

Re: Migraine Sufferers...I got my first pregnant one...
I was told just to take tylenol. Usually that wouldn't help but since I've been pregnant tylenol has been working without sleeping it off.

Re: Migraine Sufferers...I got my first pregnant one...
Thanks everyone! I decided to leave work early and come home and rest, with the deal that I'd bring home some work, which I haven't done yet. I feel a lot better. My ob/gyn was gone for the day but his partner told me it is ok to take Tylenol.
