Mike Comrie, former NHL journeyman and Hillary Duff’s ex-husband, investigated for rape
Former NHL journeyman Mike Comrie, the ex-husband of actress Hillary Duff, is under investigation for rape, TMZ is reporting.
The alleged victim told cops that Comrie raped her multiple times after meeting the former player at a bar on Saturday night, TMZ reports citing police sources. Comrie, according to the report, says that the sex was consensual. According to TMZ, the alleged encounter was part of a threesome and the other woman involved hasn’t filed a complaint.
Comrie played for the Oilers, Flyers, Senators, Penguins, Coyotes and Islanders during a 13-year career but is perhaps best known for his marriage to Duff.
The two married in 2010 and have one child together. Duff filed for divorce from Comrie in 2015, citing irreconcilable differences and the split was made official last February.
Comrie, 36, announced his retirement from the NHL in February of 2012.

WOW!! Didn't see that one coming. However, I find the story a little odd. He allegedly had a threesome and only one of the participants says it was not consensual?

WOW!! Didn't see that one coming. However, I find the story a little odd. He allegedly had a threesome and only one of the participants says it was not consensual?
Yeah, it seems a little bizarre and I'm not EVER one to discount a complaint of sexual abuse.
