MIL bought the Mutsy!!

DH and his mother came home with the Mutsy. Chat Icon I feel so bad but my initial reaction was not the best. I was so overwhelmed that DH and his mother chose something I had never seen before and it was so expensive. I just spent the last hour kissing her @ss to make up for seeming like a brat.

Finally MIL made him take it out of the box and set it up so I could calm down.

It really is nice and handles so well. Now I can't wait to have the baby and use it!!

Do you live in the city? Looks liek it might be too much for Suburb life...too heavy?

I dont think its bad to say what YOU want, your the one using it with the baby, not her...LOLChat Icon

No, we are suburbanites. But surprisingly it isn't all that heavy.

DH loves it!

It looks cool. Your situation reminds me of when we registered for a vacuum cleaner. DH had to have the DYSON. I could care less as long as it sucked up the dirt. Then I used it and loved it. Use the Mutsy well!

that's what matters! You are only going to have a few years in life to rock a stroller, so rock the one you love. DH thought I was nutty about the bugaboo..till he tried it out, now loves it.

Re: MIL bought the Mutsy!!

Oh yeah, the real kicker is that its max weight is 33 lbs. Most others go to 45 or 48.

Part of me doesn't think this is practical and the other part of me is worried to upset MIL. If I turn this down, it could start a war.

don't turn it down..baby #2 will use it as well. She went to the store to buy the best for you and came home with the best. She doesn't want you or the baby to have second rate(not stroller knocking to anyone out there, i think mil really thinks this is the ultimate)

She is probably so grateful you are her DIL, that she can stay with you and get along with you..I am sure she must feel uneasy too that your parents will be the "main" grandparents since she isn't local..

OH well, by the time your kid is 33 lbs you will have another smaller stroller, and I think for the Mutsy you can buy a ride on seat that looks like a car!

Good Luck!

Re: MIL bought the Mutsy!!

I just met a 9 month old who is over 20 pounds!!! Hopefully you don't have a baby like that - you may not even get to baby's 1st bday with 33 pounds being the max!!!

But it is a way cool stroller!!!

So I am debating on whether or not I should put my cats in the stroller and go for a walk in the neighborhood.Chat Icon
