MIL sent DD Fisher Price Learning Puppy in Polish
We just got our Christmas presents in the mail from IL's. They live in Poland and I guess MIL sent them really early.
Well, none of them were wrapped because MIL is nervous they will be inspected so I got to see the Learning Puppy she bought for DD in Polish!! I called DH and he made me pull the battery saving tab and try it out. It plays the same songs but it is all in Polish!!
It is so cute. Now I need to find someone with relatives in Italy who can buy it the Italian one and send it to us. Maybe I should contact Fisher Price and see if there is a way to order it.

That is great but if it is anything like the American version it is going to drive you crazy and go off when on one is near it, etc.

so true, if you dont turn it off completely it will scare the crap out of you... it did that to me in the middle of the night while I was pumping... freaked me out I tell you

Even if you turn it off it still goes off by itself.

DH opened it up and shut the switch off. It is driving DS crazy that he can't hear it sing & talk.

We already have the English one. It can make you nuts.
I just bugged out DD and put both puppies on the table. Her eyes kept darting back and forth. And then the Polish one spoke and she didn't know what to do because it said something different.
Oh yeah, for anyone who doesn't know, lift the velcro on the back of the pup's shirt and there is an off switch. The one of the paw doesn't work well, but the one on the back in the master switch, above the battery area.

I know that the Fisher Price site has the link to their other international websites. I am thinking of writing to them to see how to be able to buy other foreign editions over here. We just lucked out because IL's live in Poland.
You can probably find them on the internet but the question is whether or not you will spend $300 for a $20 toy.
