MIL VENT

DH's mom lives in Minnesota. She is coming to stay for a week. I personally don't want her to come the first week we are home with the baby because I don't want to feel like I have to cater to anyone. SHE however has been bugging us to give her a date to fly out because she doesn't want to spend $$$ on the flight. I am due on the 22nd and have GD so I know I will be induced by my due date. I told her to come out the 1st week in Feb. SHE has a problem with this because DH is taking two weeks off to be with us and if I go early then she will be coming out when he goes back to work. So as of right now we still don't know when she is gonna fly out. Why can't she just wait and buy her ticket when the baby gets here? They are not hurting for money and SHE has only been out here twice: once for my Bridal shower and once for the wedding. She didn't even come to my baby shower!!! Even DH is annoyed at her but of course he won't say anything. Sorry for the long Vent!

Having someone (ANYONE) in the house while the 3 of you are first home is not for everyone! I would just tell your DH to be honest & say you want time alone before anyone comes to stay at your house.
