Re: Milk Protein Allergy?
my daughter had a SEVERE milk protein allergy, she was vomiting, blood in stool, very irritable, she got exzema, runny nose, etc. We founfd out she had it at about 11 days old and she was off of ALL milk protein priducts until she was 20 months old, the longer you wait to give milk products the mosre likely a chance she will have in growing our of it. FM me is you need more info, I had become a pro ont his issue after dealing with it for almost 2 years. A simple stool guiac can help pinpoint if she is indeed allergic.

Jake had blood in his stool. It took us about a month and a half to figure it out, poor little guy.

DD has a milk protein allergy. She had mucous in her stool - she also flipped out everytime we tried to feed her.

This was Ava. We finally figured it out at 6 weeks old and she's been on Neocate since. Luckily, she's doing really well on it.

Re: Milk Protein Allergy?
My DS had blood and mucus in his stool. He has been on neocate since about 6 weeks after trying other formulas and is now 6 months and happy and healty. My GI doc thinks he will grow out of it and will probably try to take him off the neocate after one year. If you have any questions feel free to FM me
