Milk transition question
What is the reasoning for "slowly" transitioning to milk? Why not just switch from formula to milk.
It is for allergy reasons? Constipation reasons?

Re: Milk transition question
I think it may be hard on their bellies if you go cold turkey....that said, I never mixed and we had no problems, but Miki has an iron stomach

Re: Milk transition question
I only did that for 2 reasons had tons of formula that i wasn't going to waste, AND #2 was on prescription Neocate for a protein allergy so we were cautious with her.

Re: Milk transition question
We did the slow transition because DS had reflux and we wanted to see how his stomach handled milk.
I think it's to see if they have a reaction and to prevent and gas/stomach issues that might occur with a quick switch.
