Mil's bday Thursday and I got her...
2 tiki torches for the yard! LOL...I thought they were cool and I have them and she told me she liked them. We always get her clothes and stuff, so I thought this was cool. Also having ILs for dinner on Friday. I am making pasta, salad, and having nice wine and bread and some nice apps, of course. My mom goes: "You're not making any meat? You need to make meat." What's wrong with a nice bow tie pasta with mushroom, garlic and oil? Truth be told, I haven't had them for dinner too many times, b/c we are both so busy but they do come over often for wine and coffee/cake. I thought this would be nice. We go there for dinner a lot.  She's an awesome cook.

That sounds really nice. Maybe add some chicken to the pasta? I'm not mushroom fan, so you might not want to listen to me.

that sounds like a great meal!
if you get pressured into adding meat, adding some sausage into that dish would be AWESOME!
(doesn't have to be pork sausage - turkey or chicken sausage is good too!)

also,if you want, you could always make some sweet and hot sausage (if you "must" have a meat-it's easy enough and quick enough

Mmm! Sometimes I add a drop of breadcrumb to my pasta and some white wine....that'll be good!
