Mind if I gush about my son for a second…he’s making so much progress!
We’re still working on overcoming many of his developmental delays and are still unsure as to what the future holds…but the last two weeks have really been so wonderful in terms of his progression. He’s babbling so much. He is saying a few approximations for words. He’s using some sign language that he learned. He points to everything in sight. He’s starting to imitate. This morning he pointed to his nose and ears on demand. He walks around with his rubber ducky and says “dut”. I could go on and on for hours about him.
I know that these might not seem to be major milestones for a toddler of 22 months old but these are major to me because we’ve been working on them for months now. He had therapy today and even his therapist raved about how his attention span is great, fine motor continues to be wonderful, he enjoys school, starting to imitate, etc.
I’m really proud right now…thanks for letting me share.

You have every right to be very proud, especially since your son has had to work harder to achieve these goals. His persistence (and yours) is paying off! Congratulations to all of you!
