Mini Getaway
Can anyone recommend somewhere to go for a 1 night (maybe 2 night) getaway for an anniversary trip? We just want to relax at the beach or a pool, have some drinks, dinner- nothing crazy. TIA!

Greenport or montauk are great for a quick and relaxing getaway.

I agree, but both Greenport & Montauk have 3 night minimums during the summer. SOMETIMES you can find something last minute if you are flexible.

What about The Water Club at the Borgata in Atlantic City?

Re: Mini Getaway
-Atlantic City (Revel, Tropicana or Trump Taj Mahal) -Montauk
DH and I will also sometimes stay overnight in the city - go out to dinner and see a play. It gives us the feel that we're 'away' even though we're not far from home. Our favorite hotel in the city is the London and the restaurant in the hotel is by Gordon Ramsay - delicious!
(Revel and Tropicana have pools - I'm not 100% sure about London because I haven't stayed there during the summer months)

I second Atlantic City. I love the tropicana, Borgata and Revel.
