Minivan owners with three carseats/boosters
If you have a minivan(specifically a Honda Odyssey, but any really) and you have three carseats....can all three go in the middle row or does one have to go in the back row? I'm about to have my third DC and would prefer them all in the middle row but not sure if this is safe,or even possible. TIA

we have the new honday odyssey. you can definitly fit 3 seats in the second row, its jsut a matter of puzzling them together. also, what seats do you have? i think the sunshine radians are the narrowest. you may need to buy new seats but its definitly doable.

Thanks. We have a 2010 Odyssey and two Britax carseats and a Chicco infant seat. Not sure if those are narrow or not, although my guess is that they are not.

i'm not sure if its doable in the 2010 odyssey, i know the newer one is wider. theres a whole website- i thik car seat org? with forums about this, you should google it.

It might be doable but it would be almost impossible to get the kid in the middle strapped in. We have two seats in the second row and one in the back.

i'm not in that situation..but i know the two seats can separate from one other, you have to take them out and put them back in a different spot. i have an 2011 odyssey

I have a T&C with bucket seats in the middle. I have my 2 oldest in the back and the baby in the second row. I have one bucket seat folded down so I can get into the back easily. Folds up if I need it.

We just got a 2012 Odyssey a few days ago and with the new design, you can spread the 2nd rows seats out further so that you can accommodate 3 car seats (or so an adult can fit comfortably between the 2 car seats). Pretty nice feature.

We have the Odyssey and 3 seats. We have one in the back and two in the middle row. We completely took the middle seat out of the middle row. It's easier for DD to get into the 3rd row, plus others have sat in that back seat too.
