Miralax dosage for 2 year old

For those who's DC is on Miralax what is the dosage for a 2 year old? DD has been taken it for months now but it was only 1/2 tsp/day. She still has problems going and when ped saw how she tries to poop today she said "she's definitely holding it in" and told me to up the dosage and once she can go really easily, then to stay on that amount for a month and then see how she is. Of course I didn't get the amount to up it to :) I am going to call back tomorrow but just curious what others are doing...

DS is 17 months and gets 1/2 of the inner white cap of the Miralax bottle.
