Miss being Pregnant?

People used to ask me if I would miss being pregnant and I always quickly answere "NOOOO WAY". I didn't love being pregnant. I never got a nice round belly and I was sick from about 31 weeks on where I just barely could function so what would I miss right?
Well now that my daughter is here I have times when I feel like I miss being pregnant. I remember the first time I took a bath after having her. It was so wierd not to have my belly and not feel her moving while I relaxed in the tub. Or when I lay on the couch its still habit to put my hands on my belly and all I feel is a flabby jelly belly.
Then I also really miss going to see my midwives. I was there so much at the end and now I don't get to see them at all. I never thought I would be so sad about that but you almost feel like you're ending a frienship.
Has anyone else felt like this or am I totally losing it?
I love having my little girl here with me, I wouldn't change that part at all. I am just confused that I have these feelings.

A lot of people feel this way. I found it was hard to get used to not feeling her move around. Towards the end of pregnancy that was a lot of fun and reassuring for me. She'd poke me and I'd poke back. I missed that, even though I could play with her in person. Weird, right?

I had a horrible pregnancy at the end... but I know exactly what you mean... and these thoughts occurred to me, the same time your did you=the bathtub...

I miss feeling him inside me...but thats about it... Now I just love feeling him beside me:)

yes I totally had this feeling---I felt like a part of my life was over because I would never ever get to have my first child again- I mean I know Ill have more but never would I have my first again- you know...I also miss my midwife too.
