Miss Piggy has been making a break for it!
Our Kitty - Miss Piggy - has been making a break for it for the front door the last few days, this morning, bringing in the mail, she almost made it all the way out - I had to put my foot up and catch her under the belly and toss her back in... Any help with this??
This is the dirty little culprit...

aww she's so cute! cats are curious by nature...my 2 cats always try to make a run for it and have even gotten out..they always come back....what if you took her right outside where you can watch her? or do you have a fenced yard? the only thing is be careful because you know they can run fast and squeeze in between fences etc....

every time I opened a door i stomped my feet or i sprayed him with a spray bottle of water
It worked he runs when the door opens

What a pretty girl!!
Try keeping a water spray bottle or a can of pennies by the door. Shake the pennies if she comes near the door or spritz her with the spray bottle. After a while she will be discouraged from it.
Is she fixed? I read that cats that aren't fixed try to get out more to find "suitors"!

oh what a sweet girl! Love her name.
My kitty Bella tries to do that all the time. I make a loud noise and shoo her away. That only works sometimes.
My boy kitty is not as curious.

Thanks for the responses. I keep shooing her away. Which deters her slightly, its cute when she meets us at the top of the stairs to give kisses but she books down the stairs when we are leaving and sometimes is waiting when I get home. It all started when we got home from our honeymoon last month. We have never been so much away from her for one night (I have been gone OR DH has been gone over night. But NEVER both of us). I think she may be freaked we are going to leave her again. She's a little over a year old. I'm hoping this is just temporary.

She looks EXACTLY like my cat that used to escape!!
Good Luck, aside from blocking him, I was never able to figure out how to stop him. He got out 3 times & came back. Last time he brought back fleas 
Once he got older he stopped. I took him outside to brush him the other day and all he wanted to do was go back in the house. funny how things change when you get older.
