Missing Dad today.
My Dad passed away 11 years ago and sometimes its seems like it happened yesterday. Today is one of those days. I saw a Dad and a daughter out shopping today & it got me all upset. My Dad has missed out all of the big things that have happened in my life and my siblings lives. My Mom is still mourning his loss. He died in an accident he was 46. My brother was in the car with him. Not a scratch on him but the emotional baggage my brother has is so bad. He was 11 when it happened. Thanks for letting me vent. Today is not a good day.

It doesn't matter if it were 11 years or 11 minutes - you deserve to feel sad. My dad dies at 51 - 5 years ago and I had my son 10 months ago. It has been very hard for me lately as well. There are days were I see the same thing and feel so sad and empty also. I cry when I think about him on the way to work. I don't live in grief every moment but it does sneak up on me sometimes.
I'm so sorry for your brother - I can't even begin to think how he must feel.
My best to you during this holiday season.

I am so sorry. Unfortunately I don't think it ever makes it feel better no matter how many years it's been. I think it will always feel like it was yesterday because of your everlasting love for your beloved father. I hope he is looking down on you with pride and joy
