Misty just treed a raccoon!!!!!!!!!!!!!
All of a sudden we heard Misty barking out back which she never does and when we went to the door we saw a raccoon sitting in the branches of a tree.
I ran to get the camera and when I went outside, she came running to me and the raccoon ran away so I didn't get a pic

Please be careful and make sure Misty doesn't go near the raccoon. Raccoons are nocturnal and shouldn't be out during the day. If you see it again during daylight, I would call the Dept of Health and report it. The raccoon could be very sick and be carrying the rabies virus.

I think it got caught after dark and hid in the woodpile and she chased it out...anyway, it's gone now and I'm sure it won't be back for a while.

LOL Scout can't WAIT to meet Misty, he has heard all about her!! Those raccoons canbe dangerous tho, hope you got lerpo shots for her!! We just got it for Scout as we have an opossum that likes to visit.
