Mixed feelings about returning to work sooner than I planned..

I had planned to take 3 months off, which would mean I would return to work November 12th. However, I've been out since the beginning of July and my STD is ending as well as my leave. I didn't qualify for FMLA since I had only been employed for 8 months.

I decided to go back October 16th and am DREADING it. Although I can defenitely use the $$, I just feel like I made a huge mistake letting my employer know I'm coming back early. It has set in that I only have 3 weeks left with DD and it's starting to bother me.

Although I have my son, I was much younger and had no choice but to return to work 6 weeks after he was born, and feel like I missed out on a lot!! I didn't want the same thing for DD but..it looks like history is repeating itself anyway...

Please tell me I will be ok... I'm going to miss her so much...

I'm heading back to work that week too. We can get through it together!
