Mmmm Best pregnancy snack!
My favorite pregnancy snack!
Homemade Kettle Corn....
So easy to make. It great because it satisfies the sweet and salty craving, it is light, quick to make, makes the house smell good and I found that with my MS it helps to absorb the acid in my tummy and it makes me feel a little better.
Get a pot with a lid, don't use a non-stick. I use a stainless steel all-clad pot.
Put about 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil in the pot, turn on high. Put about 1/2 cup of pop corn kernels in the oil. Have 1/4 cup of white granulated sugar ready.
When the kernels start to sizzle in teh oil sprinkle the sugar over them and cover them!
Now here is the important part........
SHake the pan every 30 second or so while teh kernels pop. WHen you haven't heard kernels pop for about 5 secods or so remove from heat.
Let sit about 30 seconds. Slowly remove the lid, I always angle it AWAY from me. Sprinkle with salt and toss....
Then munch away, and if your DH is nice share
