MMR Shot - Reaction

Can you tell me how your child reacted to the MMR shot.

Jake received the shot on Monday and is very cranky today. He doesn't have a fever or a rash which is what my doctor said to look for.

Andrew had no reaction that I remember, he got his shot at his 18 month visit. He may have had an elevated temp later in the week, but nothing too serious. I hope Jake is just out of sorts and its not a reaction! COuld it be molars? Andrew started to break his 2 year molars at that point, and now at 21 months, they are still no where to be seen!

It is common to get a rash after the shot dont worry. I know my son got one.

neither my dd or ds had a reaction to the mmr shot. maybe a tiny bit cranky, but tylenol fixed that.

Maddie had high pitched crying and a hard lump under her skin that lasted week (normal). Joseph was just cranky.

Jack was very cranky and had some swelling at the injection site with the MMR. Our Dr recommended a little tylenol.
