Moab & Arches National

Looking into Moab with my kids. We would have to fly into SLC though, which is a long drive to Moab. If you have been, where did you stay near Moab? And how many days at Arches is enough? It's timed reservations now, and the mornings are full for the dates I'm looking at. So I reserved the 1pm just to have. Is that enough time? What else to do in the area besides Canyonland (that's on my list also). Thanks!

We are planning a trip to Arches (no kids) the end of the summer. Sorry I am no help as we haven’t been yet. We are flying into SLC, and home from Vegas. Been checking out hotels, but haven’t booked yet. We are also planning on spending time in Salt Lake City, Vegas, and probably one of the other National Parks. Trying to do research on TripAdvisor.
