mobile and cribs... please post your pics
So we just got our mobile for our crib and we're having a bit of trouble putting it on because the sides of the crib aren't straight across. See the pic below...
For those that don't have a straight crib, what do you do about the mobile?
Please post pics if you have them!

Sorry I don't have a pic but my friend has the same exact crib. She puts her mobiles on the side, between the second and third bar. It is a little tilted but you can't do much. It looks just fine though and the mobile works well.

Just try putting it on the highest part of the curve and then tighten the mobile as much as possible. I spent 1/2 hr doing this on different cribs at BRU yesterday. If you tighten it good it will stay fine

Yeah i did that the other day, but i'm still a little nervous about it. I guess we can use it until the baby is old enough to yank on it, right?

Re: mobile and cribs... please post your pics
I also had a curbed crib for DS. It was a little difficult figuring where to put the mobile and the crib toy. Not sure if it would help, but this was the only pic I have in my album where you can somewhat see the mobile & the crib toy. The crib toy is the directly to his left, and the white piece on the side of it is part of the tightening portion of the mobile (you can see the bees hangind down, though ). Click on pic: DS in Crib

My crib is curved and has thick rails and my mobile wont fit. I found this http://www.amazon.com/Ababy-Mobile-Attachment-Clip/dp/B0002VG4ZC/ref=pd_sbs_hg_img_1 Universal Mobile Attachment arm that I might order.

Re: mobile and cribs... please post your pics
well, it's not assembled yet, but these are our crib and mobile.... you can't see it in this pick, but there is an amber wood drawer underneath the crib skirt)
as for the mobile, I prefer the old-school 'hang from the ceiling' mobiles that move with the air currents in the room.... so we're getting this one from flenstred....
