mobile for convertible crib with thicker top rail
Hey girls,
I have the bonavita hudson crib:

, and bought a mobile which wouldn't fit because the wood on top is too thick..any suggestions on good mobiles to fit this type of crib...Thanks!

i have a munire convertible and the tiny love didn't work for me. I ended up breaking two straps...the thing almost crashed onto DD! Not worth it so I took it down. She didn't miss it!

thats the one that wont fit ...and the one everyone raves about...I stood for 5 min today holding the thing up so my daughter could enjoy it and she loved it...

yeah, one setting was too loose and the next best setting was enough...but after a couple weeks the strap broke. they sent me another but i saw it happening again. it wasn't worth it to me. sorry!

The tiny love mobile wouldn't fit my crib either. We ended up finding a fisher price one that fit. I forget the name but it has a projection feature. I bought it target but I've seen it advertised at BRU.

Don't know if it will work with your room decor or mobile but maybe you can consider hanging the mobile from a planter hook mounted to the wall above the crib...
Simple Hook
Scrolled Hook
Check out a home improvement store for more styles.

Ours is hanging on the wall over the crib. DH made a box which is attached to the wall that the mobile is attached to

We have the same crib, and we did use the Tiny Love Farm Animal mobile--it fit just fine.

Nothing special--we attached it at the end of the crib, so maybe the bar was narrower there?

honestly, I got an old school mobile for DS and he LOVES it.... no batteries required, no need to take it down when he can stand-up, and no crib mounting issues.....
he literally watches it and laughs....
