Moderately-priced places to have a shower in Nassau?
I don't really know what I mean by "moderately-priced" because I have no idea what it costs to have a shower these days....but just looking to keep costs down as much as possible.
Also, haven't even written out a guest list, but guessing it will be on the smaller side, maybe 20-30 people.
Thanks for any suggestions!

I had SIL's bridal shower at Davenport Press in Mineola last summer. I called so many places and they were by far the best deal. The price per person was in the low $20's and included a sitdown lunch and even the cake. The food was good, too! They have a private room that could accomodate up to 30-40 people.

The price per person was in the low $20's and included a sitdown lunch and even the cake. The food was good, too! They have a private room that could accomodate up to 30-40 people.

My sis booked mine at Shandon Court in Islip and they seemed to have a pretty good package deal with cake included.

My bridal shower was at Bellissimo in Amityville and it was great. We had about 35 people. Food/drinks were awesome, cake included and they even packed up leftovers for my mom to take home. My friend just had her baby shower there, and she also had the same good experience.

My g/f had her bridal shower at Paddy's. I was really surprised at how good everything was having only ever been there for drinks.

I had my baby shower there in April 2010 with my DD. My mom and mil and myself were very very pleased. I think they paid a little extra for a napoleon cake and an extra entree option for lunch, but it was still really reasonable. My mom said she wanted to set up a candy bar and they helped prepare everything for her (she bought the candy and jars though) and she asked for every other napkin to be pink or blue and they did that as well. The waiters were very attentive and the food was very good. My parents and inlaws eat there often. I had about 50-55 women at my shower and it was a success.
