Modern Family 9/21 (Spoilers!)
So glad it's back!!
I loved the ranch episode but hated Gloria's storyline with not hearing.
Alex's first kiss I only wish that when they were leaving, she found out that he a genius level IQ and she learned not to judge a book by its cover. I would love to see her with a boyfriend this season.
Speaking of boyfriends, gasp! no more Dylan!!?
They had so many great lines last night.
"I want to be able to teach my son all the things my dad… taught Claire."
Luke: After this we're going to have some angry birds
Mitchell: It's going to be Bye, Bye Birdie!
Luke: [Silence]
Claire: Okay, can you grab me an extra virgin…
Phil: I think one's enough for the sacrifice.
Claire …olive oil, Phil
"Could you 'L' a little less 'O.L.'"
Mitchell: Okay, just to be clear: This is low key?
Cam: It's a banner and some light musical accompaniment. I don't have a lower key.

SOO HAPPY IT'S BACK!! They def could have done better with Gloria's storyline in the first episode!!!
HATED DYLAN glad he's gone.
LILY- wow they made her age quickly.. she cute.. jury still out though.. hahaha

I didn't read any of the spoilers but I just had to post about how upset I am!! I was baking for a last minute request from a friend for this weekend and I missed Modern Family and it didn't record!!!  And they NEVER replay the episodes until the very end of the season. Effing UFC and America's Next Top Model recorded over it- really? REALLY?  And it was just a crappy day in general yesterday so that was the icing on the cake.

That was weird about Lilly. Not sure how I feel yet. It was cute when she wasn't in it too much and was just mean.

I don't like the new Lily, I think they made her go from not speaking at all, to speaking clear sentences. They jumped too fast on that one I think. My almost 3 yr old doesn't know 'kill'.
Glad Dylan is gone, he got stupider each episode.
I do feel like the end of the first episode was rushed. They came back from commercial and the show wrapped up each plot in 1 second. I thought I missed something.

Loved the season premier! I fidn this show so hilarious.
BUT... I dont like the new Lily. she went from not saying even 1 word in the previous season to now saying full sentences. And I feel like her character is like a little evil child.

I'm not a fan of the new Lily either....someone said the 'real' Lily was crying all the time and couldn't stay on set so they got someone else....but seriously she seems like she's 5 or 6
Not a fan of her now either 
But I still love Manny!

I loved the Phyllis line and the "We only touch our wives when they don't want us to"
but my absolute FAVE line was, as Mitchell is trying SO hard to be all butch, blowing up that birdhouse, he says, "It's Bye Bye Birdie!" I love how he couldn't keep it in the closet.
I love Dylan! He cracks me up. Some of the funniest moments in the first season were with him. I'll miss him!

My favorite line of the night was when Mitchell asked Luke how he liked sleeping in the Attic and Luke said:
"It's okay, much bigger than your old room. Grandpa says you used to be in the closet"
Great episode though! SO happy it's back, as it's really the only show DH will watch with me.
Oh and Tara - I thought of you when Mitchell referenced Bye Bye Birdie! LOL
