moisturizer with tanner
Is it ok for me to use a moisturizer with "darkening complex"? It's the CVS version of Jergens Natural Glow Daily Moisturizer. The warning doesn't mention anything about pregnancy. I want to get a little color on my body before our cruise.

Re: moisturizer with tanner
Nicole, I used the L'oreal brand of "Natural Glow" (cannot remember their exact name) before my trip because I am sooo pale and I knew I could not go tanning beforehand. It worked ok (I really just did my legs and arms/face to get a little 'glow") and my doctor said it was fine.
I will also say that everyone was right (yes you girls warned me!) Our skin really is more sensitive to the sun being pregnant . I had on SPF30 and we did not have good weather (very overcast and rainy) but I still got burnt - and I only laid out for maybe 1/2 hour a day at the most during the 2 nice days we had. I can normally get away with hardly any protection and gradually build a tan, but def. not this time!

I'm planning on wearing, and reapplying 30 SPF. I usually wear 15 SPF on my face, and that's usually it. I will be wearing lots of waterproof sunblock on my entire body- and I'll be bringing a hat.
