Does it last forever?

I was so scatterbrained during my preg. My students loved it because I did things like forget to collect homework etc.

Recently, I've felt like I am losing my mind. I lost my good sunglasses. Gave the baby my cell phone to hold and he drooled in it shorting it out. Etc, etc. I forget to do stuff all the time

Last night I lost my keys after being in my friend's house for 2 hours and it took her, her husband and me half an hour to find them tangled in the strap of my diaper bag.

I just feel so spacey and forgetful. I have a lot going on, but it's making me like such a spaz!!!

Im still there. I hate it too , because I was always fairly intelligent IMO and now I feel liek an idiot holding a conversation sometimes b/c I cant remember what I was saying, my point or sometimes my sentances sound like Im just elarning ENglish.

And Im forgetful and clumsy.

What the heck causes this anyway?

A lot has to do with taking necessary "you" time. Sometimes mommies get so overloaded with wife and mother duties that we forget to take care of ourselves.

Ya know that nice lunch we had last week where our moms watched the babies? We need more of those.

As far as when Mommy brain goes away, I am not sure if it really does, but I think we get better at juggling stuff.

I have it baaaaaaaaad. I feel stupid sometimes, like such a space cadet. I forget the most trivial to the most important things.

Yesterday I actually let my house and drove half way to joenick's house (to pick up a beautiful gift!) before realizing I forgot the directions and her phone number on my kitchen table. Here I was in LI with no directions, no number and no internet to help me find the info! I had to call my brother and have him log into my LIF account to get me the directions and phone number. I felt like an @zz when I got to Val's house, LOL.
