Mommies in the Massapequa area
Well we FINALLY moved in!!!! I cant say HOW much I've missed being on LIF
The house is a disaster & we are knee deep in renovations
Its IMPOSSIBLE with a 4 month old...but my question...
Does anyone have good recomendations for hair salon/colorist...Im sneaking out this sat for some much needed beauty renovations

My friend is a hairdresser, they also have awesome colorists, facialists etc. the salon is in Carle Place (about 20 minutes from Massapequa) near roosevelt field mall. Well worth the trip. The name is William Matt Salon and Spa on Glen Cove Rd in Carle Place. My friend is Kelly and everyone there is outstanding.
Other wise there is a place in Merrick where my friend use to work, Marje on Merrick Ave in Merrick. Don't know too many people there anymore, but they were all good. The owner Josephine is really great.

I go to Lumara on Broadway. I use Lisa and I love her! She's cut my hair several times and I just got highlights done for the first time and I'm very happy. My manager went to her too for a cut and was pleased.

I've been going to wendy @ a cut above (formerly details) since 93.
She's awesome for both color and cuts
they're on merrick rd just East of Forrest Ave.

I use Salon Visage in Seaford on Merrick Road. Dara cuts my hair 809-7007. What street are you on. Been here my whole life.

I used to work for Billy. He is a ridiculous boss, but he runs a tight ship & everyone there is fantastic.
I go to a salon in Bellmore...Olga's on merrick Road. Roberta is my hairdresser & has been for 20 years. She is great.

I use Allure (for cut and color) in Amityville on Merrick Road/Route 0110 -it is actually down the block from Self Image which I used to go to until they changed owners. I also use Joseph Christopher Salon in Bellmore for other beauty needs (waxing...)
I have been in Massapequa my whole life we are just temporarily relocated if you need any info feel free to FM me.
