Yes...I hate saying this out loud but...he slept all night last night (8pm - 6am) but I know that those come and go. He usually wakes once at night for a quick feeding...even he rushes it along to get back to sleep. Chat Icon

Thats what DS does! Every morning at 4 am. he wakes for a really quick feeding, and then goes right back to sleep. It stinks for me because I can't ever go back to sleep.

Re: Mommies of 3-4 month olds....

Lately, she's been going down about 9 and getting up at 1 for a feed and then again at 6. After each feeding she'll go right back to sleep.

But if we go to sleep any later than 9, say 10-10:30... we'll make it with just one feeding at about 2 or 3.

I'm REALLY curious as to what the trick is to get them to sleep ALL night

we still have 2 - at 12ish and 4ish.

I'm BFing/pumping, but I just have those bottles of BM made up when I go to sleep, so I don't have to wake up - or DH can do it Chat Icon

I think I'm in the minority here...DD is 11 weeks & typically goes to sleep at 9pm & sleeps through until 530-6am.

As of lately, DD (almost 3 mos.) usually falls asleep around 7:30/8 and I wake her up to eat between 9 and 10. She the sleeps till about 5, eats (BF), and then goes back down till anywhere between 8:30 and 9:30.

I wonder how long she would sleep if I didn't wake her up to eat at 9/10, but I'm pretty certain she wouldn't make it through till the morning (she only eats 5x/day, every 4 hours during the day).

nope, i bottle feed and DS goes to bed around 9ish at night and sleeps till 6-7 AM most mornings.

Last night he decided to get up at 4:45 and "talk" and play for almost 2 hours LOL DH and I were so tired but thought it was really cute. Although we hope it doesn't now become a regular thing. Even though he got up last night though, he still didnt need a bottle and fell back a sleep at like 6:30 and woke up at around 9 for his first AM bottle.

No - well if you count that she will nap from 7-9pm, wake to have a bottle, then she sleeps generally until 9am.

Re: Mommies of 3-4 month olds....

no...I believe I got lucky.

Noah has slept through the night 8+ hours since 5 and half weeks old.

He typically sleeps 11-12 hours now.

He goes down between 8:30-10:00 at night and wakes between 8 am-9:30 am.

We got lucky too!
Lily goes to sleep around 9 or 10 and I wake her at 6 for a bottle before I go to work.
She started sleeping all night through the day she turned 6 weeks.

Nope.

He's been sleeping through from 7:00/8:00 to 6:00/7:00 since about 3.5 months.

Once we switched to formula.
