Mommies of winter babies...
Can you show me what DC was wearing on his/her way home from the hospital?
I have DD's coming home outfit picked out, it comes with a hat, and I plan to also put her in a fleece one piece that's complete with a hood AND she'll be in the bundle me in the car seat.. but I am still scared that she'll be cold on her way to the car. Do I need a thicker hat?
TIA

we used the bundle me in the carseat and that kept DD warm. her actual outfit consisted of an undershirt that was too big, a long sleeve onsie top (went with the outfit) that was too big, pants that were too big and socks......that fit lol and of course a little hat.

I had a 3 piece newborn outfit and then a fairly thin bunting to go over it. The bunting was huge on DS, but it kept him warm. I also put the posh pouch on (similar to the Bundle Me, but only goes over the car seat) and draped a light blanket over the canopy. It was freezing when we left the hospital and DS was fine.

I don't have a picture of it, but we had a white sweatsuit which was 0-3 months and swimming on him. He also had a snowsuit and a blanket. We never figured out how to get the Bundle Me to fit on his carseat properly, so we barely ever used it.

The bundle me is so warm trust me you will have no issues. DS used to sweat sometimes in the bundle me.
I dont have a pic right now but DS came home in a cotton one piece from carters with a matching hat. and the bundle me, and I htink I might have thrown a blanket over his car seat as well, being nervous about the weather.

The bundle me is the greatest invention so the outfit you have is fine since the bundle me will keep them nice and toasty!
