Re: Mommies of winter babies...
I feel like I am doing something very similar.
I have a one piece hooded ivory sweater outfit. Naturally he/she will have a hat, booties, onesie on as well.
I also have one of the fleece prams as well. I do have a bundle me as well.
However from what I heard if you have a bundle me you do not put them in a snow suit/fleece pram.
I am bringing both to the hospital and will decide the day of which route I will go.

Oh, I didn't know this. I am planning to put DD in a onesie, and then her coming home outfit, then the hooded one piece, then into the bundle me... is that too much? lol I'll bring all of them just in case.

could change, but as of now we have his coming home one piece outfit with feet attached, a hat, his snowsuit & the buddle me. I think he'll be a'ok.

Re: Mommies of winter babies...
I'm not worrying about it too much. We won't be walking far with him, DH will pull up to the hospital entrance and the baby will go right in the car from the inside of the hospital, so he won't be exposed to the elements for more than a few seconds.

DOH!! What's their reasoning? I guess I'll ask when I do my tour next week.

really if they make me remove the buddle me, so be it. I'm bringing it anyway. What do you have to loose.

Re: Mommies of winter babies...
hey ladies, i just delivered at winthrop 2 weeks ago..i left with the bundle me..she wore a onesie, and her coming home outfit and a hat under it..a snow suit or one piece woulda been TOO much, she woulda been sooooo overheated...even in these 7 degree days, if i have to run out for something for my other child, and i have to bring her, i put a blanket over the car seat when were outside..no need for a one piece AND the bundle me..shes always very warm when i take her out..
