Mommies using Good Start
I recently switched my to Nestle Good Start from Enfamil (due to persistant straining, hard stools, vomiting, and overall discomfort!!).
In 2 days, he seems to strain less, however, his gas is now starting to put the dog to shame. He also has wet burps with this formula, whereas he never had that with Enfamil.
Has anyone else experienced these "side effects" with Good Start? Is it all just normal transitional stuff or can it mean this formula is no good either??
TIA

I agree, give it a few more days, it cold be a transitional thing. We changed DS from Similac to Good Start and his gas was SUPER stinky, but it passed.

Re: Mommies using Good Start
I switched from Similac to NGS. We had no issues. But, did you switch gradually, or overnight? Maybe if you did it quickly, his system is trying to adjust. Give it a couple more days, if it doesn't get better, he might have bigger formula issues than just that.

Re: Mommies using Good Start
We switched DS to good start a few weeks ago. He had such gas issues on Similac where it would wake him up screaming and he was in pain.
Anyway, we gradually switched over 3 days mixing the formula until he went to all GS. Now his gas and poops stick up the entire house! you know just by waliking in if he just went to the bathroom! And he spits up alot more. On Similac he never spit up, now he has alot of wet burps and spit ups during feedings. But over the past week it has gotten better. Not the smellyness but the spiting up.
ETA: I saw a woman in BRU yesterday buying NGS formula and asked her, she said her son spits up more on this formula as well! Personally this formula seems much thinner and so I think it just comes up easier!
