Mommies with the Baby City Mini-question
My grandmother got us the Baby City Mini and I really want to use it right away. So my question is concerning the snap and go adapter attachment. Does anyone have this, and if so, is it good? I would really rather not get a snap and go and just use the City Mini because I love it. We got the Graco Snugride as her infant seat to go with it. TIA!

Re: Mommies with the Baby City Mini-question
I have the double baby jogger Summit 360 (basically the same thing) and they didnt have the attachment for the carseat available when I got it...and even though it said to wait til your DC is 6 mo old to use, I had my toddler and nb and it was the only way I was getting around....so i used the "bundle me" in the stroller itself for my DS as early as 2 months (?!?! forget exactly when we started using it..but def early on) and we never had any problems... and my dh and I were happy we saved a lot of money not getting all the attachments needed for the carseat attachment!

Re: Mommies with the Baby City Mini-question
We were going to get the infant seat adapter for the city mini but realized the baby trend snap n go was the same price so we went with that.
I'm glad we got the snap n go... it's super light (yea the city mini is too but no where near as light as the snap n go). We used it all the time the first 2-3 months and still use it once in a while if we go somewhere and DD is sleeping in the car seat.
So basically we saved a few months of wear and tear on the city mini.
You will LOVE the city mini!

Re: Mommies with the Baby City Mini-question
I had the snugride carseat adapter for the citi mini which was fine but I guess it depends how much room you have in your car. I liked the snap and go for running errands etc b/c it fits better in my car but thats probably the only reason, well that and its lighter to push around then the citi mini w/ carseat...

Jess, are you getting rid of the snap and go? I am considering it and I know you are close by!
I figure it will be good for all of the speed bumps in my neighborhood since it is so light!

Thanks ladies!!! I was more concerned that the attachment would not be sturdy!

Not getting rid of it yet, i'm bringing it to NY when we go this weekend but i'll definitely let you know. I'm sure we will stop using it in the next few months.

Thanks Jess-we don't have to worry until March! Still debating what I am going to do!

Re: Mommies with the Baby City Mini-question
I don't have the snugride, I have the Graco SafeSeat and did buy the adapter for the City Mini. I actually found it to be annoying to snap it in, strap it in, etc... took longer then just popping the car seat in the snap and go. I also felt that the car seat wasn't as secure in it as it is in the snap and go.
ETA: DD is 10.5 months old and I STILL use the snap and go!

Re: Mommies with the Baby City Mini-question
I have the City Mini and a Grace Snugride car seat.
I got the car seat adapter instead of a snap and go.
I live in an apt in Manhattan and wanted to minimize baby stuff. The adapter is sturdy and I am not worried that the car seat might dislodge. If you are looking to save on space, then it is worth it.
ETA: Just read the post above. I don't remove the adapter from the stroller, so all I do is snap the car seat in and go. I don't find the adapter annoying at all. And it doesn't affect the way the stroller folds either.

Thanks so much! We are looking to save space-DH is already having a heart attack now that our house is being invaded with all things baby!

I just want to clarify that before DD was in the stroller, I didn't remove the adapter.
I just found it more cumbersome than using the snap and go.
