I just have the Tiffany initial pendant with his initial because I wanted something really subtle. I'll add the next baby's initial to it too.

I actually went to college w/ the woman that does these..
Edited to say, for this DC I will probably do footprint instead of handprint and will wear them together... but I'll make her drop the 2nd one down so they'll both be seen... The 2nd charm has DC's name on it & on the back the birthdate.

Just a thought: You may want to think about if you have more children - would you want more of the charmy ones that you could engrave info on or a gold/silver/diamond one that could represent the family? Do you birth stones?
If you do a search for "family jewlery" or "mothers jewelry" "mother child jewelry" you'll get some good hits.
The problem when searching for "mother" is you get a lot of "mother of pearl".

I have a hammered one from Etsy as well. I think the seller is called
'Cinnamonsticks' or something like that. She was great!
I ordered one for my girlfriend also a while ago - a circle pendant with her twins names stamped into it.
