MaMa - and I love it.  I'm pretty sure that's just her approximation of Mommy, though, and she'll be saying that before I know it!

When Jacob first started talking he called me mama. Now he calls me mommy or mom, or ma...I swear sometimes I think that he is 2 going on 20

My sons both call me "Mom" - unless they want something... then I am "Mommy".
I called my paternal grandmother Momma. My father called her Momma as well. And his great grandmother was Momma Dear. My father's family is very southern and I see "Momma" and "Momma Dear" as very southern (all of my paternal cousins call their mothers "momma") and since I don't identify as a southerner - I prefer Mom or Mommy.
My husband doesn't care WHAT the boys call me - but he does go nuts when I affectionately refer to one of them as Mama as in "Oh Mama! C'mere!" in a babyish voice. He's like "AT LEAST call them Papa!"

She calls me Dada We've been trying to get her to say Mama for months now and she always looks right at me and says "Dada". Gotta love her.

Derek started out with mama, then would say mommy as well..then ma, and now Mom (which I think makes him sound sooo grown up). He really uses all interchageably!

I will take anything...he knows how to say it, but when you ask him to say Mama or Mommy...he gets a grin on his face like I know how, but since you want me to say it, I am not going to! He is stubborn just like his daddy!
