Moms of 1-14 month olds--How much does your DC eat?
I am asking because I got a note in my DD's lunchbox theat she seems hungry at the end of the day and could I provide more food.
This is what she usually eats:
Morning around 7:30: 8oz milk
Mid Morning: 4 mini waffles or toast w/ preserves or butter (she used to eat yogurt, but won't let anyone feed her and the daycare stopped giving it to her)
Lunch: 8oz of milk and a mum-mum or cheerios
Afternoon: String cheese and a regular lunch-fish sticks, pasta and sauce, chicken and potatoes-- sometimes I make her a happy bites veggie patty.
Then she comes home and I make her a regular dinner and give her 8oz of milk w/ a scoop of cereal in it before she goes to bed.
What else can I incorporate into her diet?

Re: Moms of 1-14 month olds--How much does your DC eat?
DD is 1 year and she has a 8 oz bottle of reg. milk upon waking. She then eats breakfast which usually consists of cereal (approx. 5-6 tablespoons) and fruit (3.5 oz cup) or waffle and fruit or eggs and cheese and yogurt (4oz).
snack- puffs or cheerios
For lunch she has a 6 oz of meat/veggie combo and a 3.5 oz jar of fruit.
snack puffs or cheerios
6 oz bottle
Dinner-same as lunch.
Bedtime-8 oz bottle.
DD now eats a lot more table foods so we are starting to give her what we eat for some meals.
Maybe add a morning snack to your DD's schedule? Does your DD refuse food when full? If so, try to give her a little more at her meals, especially lunch, to see if she will take it?

Re: Moms of 1-14 month olds--How much does your DC eat?
DS is a very big eater.
Wakes at 7 am- 7 oz sippy of milk
8 am- whatever we have for breakfast, 2 waffles, 8 mini pancakes, egg and cheese sandwich, toast with cream cheese, sometimes cherrios with milk. If we even attempt to give him yo-baby yogurt he wants 2 of them plus something else, which is to much milk for him.
11:30 am- lunch- grilled cheese, pb&j, or a cold cut sandwich with some fruit or puffs, yogurt melts etc.
4:30-5:30- depends when my husband gets home from work. He has whatever we are eating. He will eat 3 of those small grilled chicken pieces. He will always have a ton of veggies, we usually make the variety of corn, peas, lima beans, carrots, green beans, HE LOVES veggies, and if you let him he would eat that and cherrios and nothing else lol.
6:30- 7 oz sippy of milk and bed.
