Moms of 17 month olds...
What does your 17 month old eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Some sample menus would be really great and about how much do they eat. Like if you put down say pancakes, How much of it do they have.
I'm always looking for ideas...

Re: Moms of 17 month olds...
Breakfast:
Pancake minis - about 6-7 sometimes more Pancakes (homemade) - 2 medium sized Waffle - 1 regular size Eggs - about 1 Yogurt - 1 container French Toast - 1 to 1 1/2 pieces - sometimes more Usually some fruit - really not sure - I don't pay attention to much to it - cause she eats breakfast first
Lunch: Yogurt - 1 container Grill Cheese - 3/4 of a sandwich (if it is less then we give her yogurt with it. Chicken Nuggets - about 6-7 (I think) Leftovers from the night before - not sure how much
Dinner: It depends on what she ate all day - if she ate alotduring the day she doesn't eat too much for dinner Chicken Steak Pasta I can't think of what else - she tries to eat what we are - but if she doesn't like it - I make her something else.

Re: Moms of 17 month olds...
DW feeds DD most of the time, so I can only go by what I see when I'm home, but DD eats pretty much whatever we eat. Chili, pasta, lasagna, vegetables, soup, etc. There is very little of our food that she doesn't eat. Scrambled eggs for breakfast, pancakes, etc. She usually gets a pre-packaged meal for lunch, maybe some bread, some cheese.

She eats well...
I still give DS the cereal and stage 2 fruit. I give him 6 tbsp of cereal and a stage 2 fruit then later on he'll have 3 of the mini pancakes. I do eventually plan on weaning him off the cereal maybe start taking it out of the menu. Not completely maybe skip it a day or two. When I do that and I make him breakfast lets say...then would just the pancakes be enough say If I made 4 of the mini ones and then a yogurt...

My DS eats about the same amount as Marcie's DD. He eats everything and anything, he eats more than my 3 year old.

Re: Moms of 17 month olds...
Breakfast: Blueberry pancakes about 12 mini ones! Two blueberry waffles A 6oz. soy yogurt and a piece of cinnamon bread. A two egg omlette with diced onions. Whole grain cheerios with soymilk.
Lunch: Soy peanut butter sandwich on cinnamon raisin bread with pear or apple butter (an entire sandwich) And entire turkey sandwich on whole wheat bread with hummus spread on it. A bowl of pasta. A 2 egg omlette on days we have no turkey or soy peanut butter.
Dinner: Anything we're having. Her new favorite is spicy turkey chili (homemade) with rice. She can eat a full sized adult portion. Breaded chicken with soy cheese rolled in it, baked in the oven. Baked "chicken fingers" She eats a whole chicken breast worth. Lemon chicken and rice (one to two thinly sliced chicken cutlets) Pasta with roasted veggies and sauce. roasted veggie soup You name it, she eats it.
