Tylenol will take down a temp.
In my med. cabinet I have:
Benadryl (you just never know when/what DC is allergic too) Tylenol Oragel PediaCare (just because- def. not a necessity) and Motrin (although I dont really like to use this- he has to have a real high fever or be in alot of pain before i use this)
I also have the little noses saline spray

All we use is Motrin and Tylenol. We also keep a humidifier handy for the days when she's really stuffy (though that doesn't really fit in the medicine cabinet )

I agree with the Bendryl (in case of allergic reaction). I just stocked up on Tylenol, Motrin, Anti gas stuff, Benedryl, paroxide, alcohol wipes, small bandaids, dimatap and I think that's it. I was told to buy the Benedryl by my physician....I did wish I had it one day - DS got hives from a food and I didn't have any...it could have been bad.
