i have twins but the older twin walked almost 1 month before the younger one did.

It's too early to tell yet as DD#2 is only 8 months, but so far, she has been way advanced on the other physical milestones as compared with DD#1. For example, DD#1 crawled at 9 months; DD#2 crawled at 6 months and I have other examples too. Anyway, DD#1 walked around 13 mos, so we'll see...

Sarah was VERY cautious. She would creep along holding onto the furniture until about 16 months. She could do it, but she just didn't want to fall.
Andy was much more daring, he was walking on his own before 1 year old.

The same time (11months). We were pretty sure that she was going to walk earlier, but she held out.

Both were born in the same month and both walked at the same time (about 14-15 months old).
