Moms of 4 mth olds
DS is 4 1/2 months old...What time do u give your DC their last bottle before bed. Mine was getting one last one around 10:30 and sleeping all night. Do you think hes ready to get rid of that one if I make his last bottle between 8:30-9:00 PM and hope he stays asleep all night. I may try it tonight..Wish us luck...Just wanted to see what time other 4 month olds are having their last bottle

Re: Moms of 4 mth olds
Well, I'll be no help for you. My 4 month old DD had her last bottle at 8p, but is no where near sleeping all night. She wakes up at least 2x. We have been giving her a bottle each time she woke up, but our doctor just siad we can now try to wean her off those middle-of-the-night feedings. Yeah...easier said than done!
Good luck!

Re: Moms of 4 mth olds
Molly is 4 1/2 months old and she has her last bottle at about 7:30 and then goes to bed. She usually sleeps through to about 5:30 am when she has another bottle and then goes back to sleep until about 8am. I was dream feeding her at about 10pm since I just assumed that she needed it, but she was still waking at about 2 or 3 am. So one night, DH and I decided to not give her that 10pm feeding and see what happened. Well that night she went all the way until 6am! Turns out she does better when I dont feed her at 10. I think it was actually disturbing her sleep and now she sleeps great. Good luck

Re: Moms of 4 mth olds
DDs take their last bottle anywhere from 7-8 then go to sleep, and sleep until 6:30-7:30. We got rid of the 10 o'clock bottle around 2 months. They're gaining weight fine and don't wake up hungry in the middle of the night so I think it's fine.

Same here as above.... She wakes up once in awhile during the night but for the most part she sleeps thru. I am trying not to feed her at night now if she does wake. She has been on the same schedule as above and it's working great.

How did it go? DD gets her last bottle at 6:30/7pm and might wake up around 5 for her nuk but she wakes up to eat again at 6 or 7 am.

Re: Moms of 4 mth olds
At exactly 4 months is when we took away the last bottle of the night (around 10-11PM) and started putting them to sleep at 7PM. They have slept though the night since that time. We actually realized they were so cranky the last three hours because they were so tired.

Me too. I am breastfeeding though. I usually feed her around 10-10:30 and she's up again around 1. I've tried formula at the same time and it didn't make a difference.

Re: Moms of 4 mth olds
At around 3 months we stopped feeding her at 9:30/10 pm and moved her schedule around and starting feeding her at 8 or 8:30 pm. The first few nights she woke up but we gave her her pacifier and then she stopped.
She usually eats now around 7:30 pm and sleeps until about 7 am. Sometimes she'll wake up during the night but we don't feed her - just give her the paci and she goes right back to sleep.

Same here (bf). We haven't tried formula, and some nights are better than others. Last night she was down at 8:30, up at 11:30 and down until 5:30. I was sure she was gonna wak up before then, but I guess we lucked out.. I'm wondering if I could try not feeding her at that 11:30 wake-up.. Maybe one night this week I'll get brave, but I doubt it lol. dd is 4 1/2 mos..
