Moms of 9 month olds - pls. help re: eating
DS is now 9 months old. Today I was told at the ped to introduce eggs - first the yolk then the whole egg. How many times a week do you give DC eggs?
Also, right now this is his schedule 7am - 7 oz bottle 9:30sih - 4 tablespoons cereal and 1 jar fruit 11:30sih - 7 oz bottle (usually only drinks about 3-4 oz) 2pm - 1/2 jar fruit and 1/2 jar veggies 4:30ish - 7 oz bottle 6:30- 4 tablespoons cereal and fruit or veggie 8:30- 7 oz bottle
does this seem right to you, or should I be combining bottles and food so they are given together? I am not sure if he would take a bottle right after he eats bc he seems full from the food.

Re: Moms of 9 month olds - pls. help re: eating
DD is 9 months and I BF but here goes anyway..
I BF her in the AM, around 6 or 6:30.
She gets breakfast (oatmeal and fruit, pancakes, bananas, waffles, whatever) around 7:30 or 8.
She has a snack of goldfish or cheerios or a banana after her nap around 10:30 or 11.
Lunch around 12 or 12:30...yogurt and fresh fruit usually.
BF around 3 or 4 after her nap.
Dinner around 5:45--she doesn't eat baby food so she gets what her older sister gets.
Then BF before bed around 7

Re: Moms of 9 month olds - pls. help re: eating
DD is 10 months old tomorrow. We go for her checkup on Saturday but at our last visit they said no eggs, so I haven't given them to her yet.
Here's what she eats:
3 or 4 7 oz bottle througout the day (depends on what time she wakes up)
breakfast 3 tablespoons of cereal and 1 jar of either a stage 3 fruit or cut up fruit that I prepare.
lunch 1 jar of stage 3 food with meat
snack yogurt
dinner 3 tablespoons of cereal and 1 jar of either a stage 3 veggie or table food - pasta, chicken, etc....depends on how much time I have and what DH and I are eating.
