Moms of boys....shopping for clothes...
Do u ever feel that the stores have SOOOO many clothes for girls and SOOOO few clothes for boys?
I was in a bunch of stores over the weekend. They all had several girls' holiday dresses and NOTHING for boys. I've noticed this in general. Even places like Marshalls have a large section for girls, and a handful of items for boys.
It's so annoying. Has anyone else noticed this?

Re: Moms of boys....shopping for clothes...
I defintely think there is far less variety for boys - but the same goes for men vs. women.
But I have to say, a lot of stores are providing more dressy options now than the standard sweater vest.

Yeah, I agree. But it makes my life easier so I don't waste money and space on a ton of outfits he'll only wear a few times!

Ummm YES!!!!! So annoying!
Although, I now feel like I have TOO many options for DS's holiday outfit(s)!
Children's Place just came out with their holiday items and they said on November 4th they'll have more. I'll post some pics of ideas for you

Yes! Funny I was just complaining about Target. There's such limited stuff and I can't find anything dressy. I usually like Gap or Children's Place. Besides some casual stuff there's nothing else there. Never anything dressy either

I found that they've had the best variety.
Although there is more cute stuff for girls I feel, people keep telling me that the boy selection is a lot better than it used to be.

Re: Moms of boys....shopping for clothes...
I was always jealous of the cute girl stuff. But now that I have a girl, it is just so much easier to dress the boys. I picked out the boys holiday outfits and have nothing for DD.

Re: Moms of boys....shopping for clothes...
yes! It used to really get on my nerves bc I never like anything and there is not much . then I realized, why am I spending $ on boy clothes (noone cares what boys wear anyway LOL) so I really buy just the very bare minimum.
for holidays DS wears a button down and pants , I don't get him anything special

Thanks for asking. The CT scan confirmed the diagnosis. We are meeting w/ his neurosurgeon again this week to schedule the surgery. I try to keep my mind off of it as much as possible (like by getting annoyed when Baby Gap has few outfits for boys ) but this is constantly in my thoughts.

Re: Moms of boys....shopping for clothes...
I mostly shop at Osk Kosh and The Children's Place for DS. He has a ton of clothes.
I actually prefer it over shopping for a girl. Less options, and kahkis and a sweater = dressy for DS. Less stress and he still looks cute.
Plus, I don't feel the need to coordinate his shoes with all of his outfits. Blue/gray sneakers and brown leather shoes go with everything!

Mom of a boy and girl. I am the minority and always have been. I never have an issue finding clothes for my DS. I do a lot of shopping online and mostly at Century 21.

Re: Moms of boys....shopping for clothes...
Yes, especially in places like Target. I guess it's better this way though, because as it is I spend way too much money on clothes for DS
My favorites are the Gap, Century 21, and The Children's Place. Now that DS is a little older, I'm not a huge fan of Carters anymore.
