I'm really struggling with this b/c DD is a VERY bad eater - as in, she has no appetite ever Chat Icon Chat Icon She will eat a few bites and she is done. Then it is up to me and the dog and pony show to get her to eat the rest! I just want an idea of how many times a day and how much other kids her age are eating...TIA so much!

What is breakfast, lunch and dinner for your DC and how much milk/formula do they drink per day?

DD is the world's worst eater. Seriously there are days where she doesn't even put a morsel of food in her mouth Chat Icon She will be a 1yr on friday.

As for milk (she's still on formula until the Ped tells us otherwise on tues) and she has about 3-4 bottles a day. The ped told me at her 10 mth appt she wanted her down to 2 bottles of formula and water in between but it doesnt work. I feel like DD is STARVING since she doesn't eat food so she depends on her bottle for food. Some days she'll take like 4-5 bottles!!! IDK what i'm going to do. She just doesn't like food

Emmy is 13.5 months and this is her day to day

Get up(btwn 7 and 8)- 9oz milk

Breakfast(btwn 9 and 0930- 1 yo baby yogurt and 1 waffle with light syrup and butter. It's ALWAYS yogurt but it varies between waffles, english muffin or toast. I put jam and butter on the breads. When Joe is home she will have 1 egg and some sausage sometimes.

Lunch(btwn 12 and 1)- grilled cheese sandwich with edges off, and about 4oz of soup. She is loving broccoli cheddar right now. We alternate between this and roughly 2oz of shredded turkey or chicken, 1oz shredded cheese, and applesauce. I have found if she can feed herself she eats more.

Snack(btwn 4 and 6)- this is when i'm cooking dinner or if we're eating late. Handful of cherrios or some applesauce or hummus and pita. This is also a GREAT lunch item for her since she is CRAZY for hummus!

Dinner(btwn 5 and 7)- Whatever we're having in a smaller portion. Tonight was spaghetti and she'll have leftovers for lunch tomorrow like me. If we wait until Joe gets home she eats alone so i'll give her whatever is quick to make or if she's really lacking somewhere we try to make up for it. Mashed potato and a small hamburg cut up real fine, mac and cheese.

Bed(btwn 7 and 8) She is offered a 9oz bottle of milk. She normally takes it but it depends on if she drinks it all.

She gets her sippy cup at breakfast and we just refill as needed throughout the day. She gets about 2 refills so 3 sippy's a day. I do 1-2oz of 100% apple or white grape juice in 6-7 oz of water. The sippy is 8oz. Normally the 1st refill is just water since I don't want her getting a lot of juice

In total roughly 15-18oz of whole organic milk a day, and 24oz water/juice mix with only about 3-6oz of that being juice.

Emmy is a fantastic eater and enjoys meals. She goes out to eat with us and eats what we eat. I do not order from a childrens menu and she is very animated so we know if she likes it or not. HTH

My son will be 13 months next week. So far, he's not a big fan of milk. Our ped wants us to get up to 2 servings of milk a day for now. He nurses 3 times a day and eats 3 meals and at least one snack.
A typical day of eating will go something like this:
Wake up at 7 and nurse
9:30 breakfast- oatmeal mixed with 1 whole banana, about 1/2 a cup of blueberries, and he will drink maybe 2 or 3 ounces of water
11:30 snack- about half a cup of raspberries, or puffs, and a little water
12:30 lunch- half a grilled cheese and turkey sandwich (cut up into pieces), a YoBaby yogurt, a few handfuls of puffs, and 2 or 3 ounces of water
3:30 nurse
7:00 dinner- pastina mixed with a fruit puree, a slice of cheese, and one or 2 slices of a cold cut, some puffs, maybe some banana slices, and depending on how hungry he is, sometimes a scrambled egg. Again, a few ounces of water
8:30 nurse

We can usually get an ounce or 2 of milk into him at some point between meals or before bedtime.
