Moms of DS' do you have this problem...

DS has discovered his pee pee and won't stop touching it when I change him. What do you do when they have a poopie diaper? Not only did he pee on the wall but he grabbed himself with poopie!

I hand him a wipe so it gets on the wipe and not on his hands.Chat Icon

LOL! The lifelong obsession has begun!!

My DS #1 found his around 7 months and so it began... My DS #2 is a year old and hasnt really done this yet. Grabbing it with the poop diaper is the WORST!!! I can barely change him already, he wont stay still so if he starts doing this, I'm going to lose my mind with each diaper change. Definitely try giving him toys or anything to distract him while you clean him up. Otherwise I do remember getting really good at changing DS #1 with one hand while the other held his hand out of the dipe. I'd let him play with it other times so he didnt think it was a bad thing.

My son never really did this... but I would always give him a toy to hold while I changed him. Just make sure it's a washable toy because he did once throw it in the poopy diaper Chat Icon

My DD is 100x worse! She grabs down there like there is no tomorrow! Holy cow, she's bad!

Glad I'm not alone lol. I do give him toys and I did actually give him a wipe tonight too. No luck he went right for it. I felt really bad I know I am not supposed to tell him no but tonight I got mad b/c it was poopie.

Wait until he starts saying "pee pee" a million times in a row while you are on the phone with someone (while pointing/touching)Chat Icon
